This Cornell University collection of preprints includes
research papers in the areas of physics, mathematics, non-linear science,
computer science, and quantitative biology. The computer science collection
is the Computing Research Repository (see below).
NEC Research Institute's CiteSeer indexes computer science
papers that are posted on the Web. Entries include links to cited
papers and authors' home pages. The system has an automatically created
index of citations among research papers.
of Computer Science Bibliographies
University of Karlsruhe researcher Alf-Christian Achilles
maintains a collection of about 1,400 computer science bibliographies.
It contains 1.4 million references to journal articles, conference
papers and technical reports in BibTeX format. More than 240,000 references
link to electronic versions of the documents. Users can search for
references to documents or links to individual bibliographies.
Research Repository (CoRR)
This joint repository for computing research papers was formed
by ACM, the arXiv.org
e-Print archive, the Networked Computer
Science Technical Reference Library (NCSTRL), and the American
Association for Artificial Intelligence (AAAI). CoRR's papers
are classified according to both the CoRR subject list and the ACM
Computing Classification System.
Computer Science Technical Reference Library (NCSTRL)
NCSTRL is an international collection of research reports
and papers from computer science and engineering departments at universities.
This National Library of Medicine database has more than 15 million
citations to medical-related research papers. The entries include
abstracts. Most of the papers are from journal publishers, but some
of the citations link to sources for the full text of the papers.
American Chemical Society

for Computing Machinery (ACM)
is an international professional association for people working in
the information technology field. ACM publishes research, news and
opinion in magazines, journals and conference proceedings. ACM's
Digital Library contains articles, abstracts, reviews and bibliographic
information from the association's publications.
Access: You must register to search the Digital Library. Access
to full-text articles is pay-per-view or by subscription.
IEEE Computer Society
The IEEE Computer Society is a professional association and
standards body that publishes a series of magazines
Access: Although selected articles are available to all, the
full collection is available only to the society's members who purchase
